Heat exchangers are composed of a series of plates compressed from stainless steel sheet. The plate corrugation guarantees high heat transfer while increasing their rigidity. The plates are assembled together to form channels, into which the heat-carrying fluid is distributed via inlet holes in the plate corners. Each plate is washed by the primary medium on one side and the secondary medium on the other, allowing the heat transfer. Copper solder joins the plates not only along the perimeter, but also at every contact point between adjacent plates.
Soldered plate heat exchangers are suitable for a wide range of applications in central heat supply systems, heating and cooling systems and DHW systems. They are also used for warming swimming pool water, solar systems and applications in light industry.
